Overview | |
Format | 5v5 |
Short description | Hold the platform |
Features | Unlimited respawn credits |
Power Shift is a casual 5v5 game mode where two teams compete to escort a platform through the arena.
Rules
- The platform will start moving shortly after a contestant stands on it.
- If interrupted by an enemy team, the platform grinds to a halt — or will switch direction entirely.
- The platform speed is determined by how many contestants from one team are on it; maximum speed is reached at 3 contestants.
- The platform will tear through anything in its path and can be rocked by physics.
- Players can switch their contestants and loadout between respawns.
- The game ends when one team escorts the platform to their goal, or when the timer expires.
- If time expires when the platform is being contested, the game will enter overtime.
- Overtime ends when the team who is escorting the platform has escorted it further than the opposing team, and the platform is not being contested.
