Easter eggs and other secrets found in the Kyoto 1568 arena.
Tree Stumps & Disk #22
The base of some tree stumps on Kyoto feature a hole shaped like an arrow. It was later found that breaking certain trees will occasionally reveal a floppy disk marked "#22" only visible to some players. This is a reference to the "stump joke" from the floppy disk version of The Secret of Monkey Island, in which Guybrush Threepwood peers down a hole in a tree stump at a system of catacombs below. He attempts to squeeze through, and the game prompts the player in "insert Disk #22", "Disk #36", and "Disk #114" to advance. These disks do not physically exist, and so upon the player's failure to insert them, Guybrush says he'll have to skip that part of the game.
While the tree stumps were noticed at the beginning of Season 3, Disk #22 was not discovered until August 11th, 2024. This easter egg was seemingly first teased in the Season 3 credits:

New Zealand Fantails
Graffiti of the New Zealand fantail bird can be found across Kyoto. During development of the arena, Embark Studios level designer Midas got engaged in New Zealand and took a liking to the bird.
After the first three graffiti were found, on the launch day of Season 4, Midas revealed the existence of three new hidden fantails.[1][2] Around two months later on November 21, 2024, Midas implied that fantails are, or will be, hidden in other arenas too, though none outside Kyoto have been found so far.[3]
