Kyoto 1568 was added at the launch of Season 3 and was the sixth arena to be introduced. It is based on the real-life city of Kyoto during the historic feudal period of Japan. The arena is set on a steep mountainside in the lush Kyoto Valley and features a network of 16th-century temples, gardens and dense bamboo forests.

Kyoto changes with each real-life season. During Fall, the leaves on trees in the arena become orange and golden brown. Similar changes are expected in Winter and Spring.
