Overview

Specializations are abilities that are available in a contestant's loadout, and each Build has different Specializations available to them. Most Specializations are active abilities, meaning that they have to be manually activated during a match. A contestant's playstyle is usually determined by their Specialization. Specializations are themed around the Build that they belong to: Light Builds have mobility-based Specializations, Medium Builds have utility-based Specializations, and Heavy Builds have powerful Specializations focused around securing objectives. Having Specializations is an important game mechanic in THE FINALS, and allows Contestants to mold their loadout around their preferred playstyle. Each Specialization requires the user to be familiar with it to be effective. Loading into the Practice Range is a great way to practice these powerful abilities!
