Old Town Monaco was the first map for THE FINALS to be teased, with streets lined with the flag of Monaco appearing in the first game teaser, published by Embark Studios on Twitter in November 2021. The map was also the basis for all gameplay shown in the game's first full trailer.
First release of the map:
Old Town Monaco was the first (and only) map to be released for the Closed Alpha playtest for THE FINALS, on September 29, 2022.
